Keith Thurman Ready for Next Fight

Keith Thurman wants the boxing world to know he is ready to avenge his 2019 loss to eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao. He also says he does not care which fighter steps up to incur the wrath he will deliver through his “revenge punch.”

Thurman admits his split decision loss to Manny Pacquiao still bothers him. He feels he would have won the fight if he threw 15 more punches during the contest.

Keith Thurman does not have a fight an opponent for his next fight. But he says he would love to fight Errol Spence when the top welterweight heals from his eye injury. Thurman feels he will get the chance to fight Spence in the future. However, Spence is on record saying he will never fight Thurman.

“We all want to test The Truth,” Thurman referred to Spence with his boxing nickname. Keith Thurman looks forward to the day Al Haymon calls Errol Spence to offer him a pay-per-view fight. Thurman says The Truth will likely agree to the face-off.

The boxing world is also excited about recent talks of Keith Thurman fighting Gervonta Davis. Thurman blames Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe for instigating the fight talks.

“Gervonta Davis hasn´t said anything,” Thurman erupted while on hand to cover the Pacquiao-Ugas fight. “His team said this.”

Keith Thurman seemed particularly upset with Ellerbe. The warning to the boxing executive was, “Don´t play me. “Thurman also challenged Mayweather promotions to “give me the contract and show me the money.”

Keith Thurman says he does not believe he lost the fight to Manny Pacquiao. He blames himself for not throwing enough punches to secure the victory.

“Whoever they put in the ring with me is going to feel the wrath,” Thurman explained. “Ya`ll ain´t never seen Thurman´s revenge punch,” he warns.
